This was a project experimenting with the sgraffito technique. I was thinking a lot about how we (as humans) tend to ignore the fact that time is finite, pretending we will live into a figurative forever. As a result, we put things off to a proverbial someday, as in someday Ill do [blank]. There have been countless times Ive left my breakfast forgotten as I answer an email, get caught up in social media, etc. This piece serves as a reminder that time IS finite, to put my phone down and eat my damn eggs.
