51°µÍø board wants community input for president's search

The board of directors of 51°µÍø has hired the national Association of Community College Trustees to coordinate the search for 51°µÍø’s next president. Current President Daniel F. Moriarty, who has been with the college since 1986, announced his retirement effective Sept. 2001. The 51°µÍø board is seeking community input to help with the selection process. The board will hold a community forum for public comment on the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead for 51°µÍø and desirable characteristics sought in a new president. The forum is set for Tuesday, November 28, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Sylvania Campus, 12000 S.W. 49th Ave. in Room 107 of the ST Building. In addition, community members interested in an appointment to the board’s Presidential 51°µÍø Committee can contact Neal Naigus, as well.
