My51°µÍø set to debut around college in fall

Story by

On August 30, 2004, 51°µÍø will launch a new set of portal-based web services called “My51°µÍø.” This suite of commonly used online services and information will be personalized for you, whether you are an employee of the college, a faculty member, and/or a student. To help you prepare, here are changes you can expect on August 30. We are preparing a broad series of communications and training for the college community this summer and throughout the inservice activities this fall. You can find more details and updates as we progress at pcc.edu/mypcc . * My51°µÍø will be the new home for BanWeb (“Secure Online”) services. All employees and students will have an account and will login to My51°µÍø to access BanWeb. All faculty, staff, and students will have a pcc.edu email address as part of their account in My51°µÍø. * My51°µÍø WebEmail will take the place of Pine as the way for faculty and staff to read and send email off-campus. * Eudora users can continue to use Eudora as they have in the past. After our initial fall roll-out, we will provide support to staff who wish to migrate from Eudora to My51°µÍø email. * My51°µÍø WebEmail will be available for students.
