High school counselors to be briefed on 51°µÍø process

CASCADE CAMPUS – Local high school counselors will get a first-hand look at what 51°µÍø has to offer its students.51°µÍø’s High School Counselor Day will attract between 40-50 counselors for special workshops between 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, April 22 in Terrell Hall 122 on the Cascade Campus, 705 N. Killingsworth St. The annual event invites district-area high school counselors to gather at 51°µÍø to get updated information on new programs, changes that may affect the admissions process, requirement changes and ways to better communicate with the college’s admissions offices.51°µÍø District President Preston Pulliams will welcome the counselors in the morning while Algie Gatewood, president of 51°µÍø’s Cascade Campus, will host a lunch in the dining hall.
