51°µÍø christens new building at Cascade Campus
PORTLAND, Ore. - The final piece to the Cascade Campus' 2000 construction bond puzzle is now complete - the Daniel F. Moriarty Arts and Humanities Building. The facility is named after former 51°µÍø President Dan Moriarty, who retired from the college in 2001 after 15 years at the helm of the states largest institution of higher education. PORTLAND, Ore. - 51°µÍø's Volunteer Literacy Tutor program wants to do something about the 22 percent. That's the percentage of adult Oregonians who do not have high enough literacy skills to meet the demands of todays changing workforce.
