This past year 51°µÍø was recognized in two publications on higher ed sustainability: The Association for Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education’s STARS  and the Princeton Review’s !
51°µÍø was recognized for its efforts in building to a minimum of LEED Silver standards; practicing exemplary waste management such as the Rock Creek closed loop system; promoting sustainable purchasing efforts; and fostering sustainability education through curriculum, outreach, events, and student-led projects.
