Use this page as a helpful landing page for acquiring and using the resources available to you while welcome your new employee.
Access Badges
If a new employee will need an access badge to access their workspace, submit a request through FMS ReADY on their behalf. The request for access must be submitted by an Admin (Administrative Assistants, Executive Assistants, IAAs, Office Assistants) or a Manager (Dean, Directors, Managers, Supervisors, VPs). For new employees, make sure to include a in .jpeg format. If you do not have a suitable photo to upload, employees may contact Enrollment Services for photo assistance.

Brass Keys
If a new employee will need a brass key to access their workspace, submit a request through FMS ReADY on their behalf. The request must be submitted by an Admin (Administrative Assistants, Executive Assistants, IAAs, Office Assistants) or a Manager (Dean, Directors, Managers, Supervisors, VPs). Keys are issued to staff from the campus Public Safety Department offices.
Note: Staff must show identification in order to pick up keys.

Employee ID Card

G Number, 51做厙 Username, and Email Address
All faculty and staff are assigned a G Number, a 51做厙 username, and a 51做厙 email address that is tied to their My51做厙 account once they are hired.
New employees who have a past affiliation with 51做厙 (i.e. a past student or employee) will already have a G Number, 51做厙 username, and email address.
Employees who have never had an affiliation with 51做厙 in the past will be assigned a G Number, 51做厙 username, and email address once their employee record is activated (after they are hired in Workday).
Email address: Look up an employees email address by searching for them in Workday or the Staff Directory.
G Number: Look up an employee’s G Number by searching for them in Workday.
My51做厙 Account
Once an employee has a G Number, 51做厙 username, and 51做厙 email address, they are able to claim their My51做厙 account and create their single sign-on credentials. Single sign-on credentials can be used to access any 51做厙-issued computer, My51做厙, Workday, Google Suite, and other 51做厙 systems.
To claim their My51做厙 account, the new user should visit and click on the .
Important information on claiming your My51做厙 account
Note:
- If the new employee is a NEW USER, they might need to call the IT Service Desk as they may not have an email address on record that is needed to receive the set up code that allows them to create a new password.
- Once the 51做厙 account is claimed, it can take up to 30 minutes for new employees to be able to access My51做厙 and Gmail, along with logging into an on-campus computer. Additionally, it can take up to 24 hours to gain access to additional systems and applications, such as Microsoft 365 and Adobe Creative Cloud.
If after 1 hour, a new employee does not have the access necessary, please reach out to the IT Service Desk at 971-722-4400 or servicedesk@pcc.edu.
Workday
New employees will have access to Workday once their hire has been completed in Workday and they have an employee status under “People” or “Staffing”. They will need to claim their My51做厙 account and use their single sign-on credentials to login to Workday.

Technology Related Services and Support
If you are having trouble accessing a 51做厙 computer, your My51做厙 account, Gmail account or are encountering other technology-related issues, please give IT Service Desk a call at x4400 or visit their Employee Help website.
Parking Pass/Trimet Pass
51做厙 offers a variety of transportation options at its campuses and centers. The Transportation & Parking Department manages parking permits, the 51做厙 Shuttle, parking lot maintenance, EV charging stations, and resources for alternative transportation options to help employees travel to and between 51做厙 locations.
Parking Permits
Parking permits are required for students, faculty, staff, and visitors.
Parking permits are ordered through the泭泭for casual employees, annual staff and faculty, and part-time faculty.
- Staff and Faculty:泭Annual permit costs are paid through a monthly pre-tax monthly payroll deduction.
- Part-Time Faculty:泭Term permit costs are paid through a one-time pre-tax payroll deduction.
- Casual Employees:泭Eligible to purchase a student parking permit at the discounted rate of泭$40 per term.
- Student Employees:泭May order a parking permit through their My51做厙 account.
Daily and Hourly Parking
Daily and hourly parking permits泭are available from parking pay stations located throughout 51做厙 campuses and centers.
Daily scratch-off parking permits may also be purchased from a 51做厙 Bookstore. For small or large quantity orders, contact the Transportation & Parking Department at泭parking@pcc.edu.
Please note:泭Daily and scratch-off permits are valid in泭general parking only泭and are not valid in staff parking areas.
Tri-Met HOP Card
All 51做厙 faculty and staff, including casual employees, may purchase a monthly泭TriMet Hop pass泭on a pre-tax basis.
For the average employee, purchasing the pass pre-tax may reduce the cost by approximately泭31%. Individual savings will vary depending on income and tax bracket.
How to Sign Up or Cancel
Log in to泭Workday泭and complete the following steps:
- Select Personal from the left-hand menu.
- Select Benefits and Pay.
- Select Change Benefits.
- Select Start/Stop Parking/Bus Pass.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Applications and cancellations may be submitted at any time. Requests must be received by Benefits/Payroll泭before the 15th of the month泭to take effect the following month.

Requesting systems access and training
Managers can request that an employee receive access and training in a particular system at 51做厙 (such as Banner, Argos etc.) via the Manager portal in My51做厙. Visit the Employee tab and click on Visit the managers page.
Under Manager Forms and Tools, select the system or tool you wish to request, and fill out the accompanying form. This will submit a ticket to IT Service Desk.
