Katy Ho, Interim President

Katy Ho is stepping into the role of Interim President because of her deep belief in 51°µÍø’s mission and the people who make this college what it is. Throughout her career, Katy has led with a student-centered and people-first approach, grounded in the understanding that community colleges can transform lives, strengthen communities, and create opportunity for all.

Her decision to serve in this role comes from a genuine commitment to supporting 51°µÍø during this period of transition and helping the college continue moving forward with clarity, empathy, and stability. Katy believes deeply in the work happening across 51°µÍø every day in our classrooms and behind the scenes, and in the collective power of our team to serve Portland’s students with compassion.

As Interim President, Katy is focused on listening closely, maintaining forward movement on the college’s priorities, and ensuring 51°µÍø leads with integrity and collaboration. A longtime 51°µÍø employee, she is looking forward to working alongside the community she has been part of for many years to accomplish these goals.
