Apply to Exercise Science

To join this program, you must apply for admission. This program accepts 35 students each fall and spring term. Successful applicants complete the prerequisites and apply early – admission is first-come, first-served.

   Applying to 51°µÍø is free and only takes a few minutes. Complete this step as soon as possible so you can start using 51°µÍø resources.

2. Application timeline

   Term you want to start	Apply to Exercise Science
   Spring 2026	by March 2, 2026
   Fall 2026	by September 7, 2026

   Take prerequisites

   • Attend an information session.
   • To see if you’ve met these prerequisites, complete the placement process.
     • WR 115: Composition I and RD 115: College Reading (or IRW 115: Intro Reading and Composition)
     • MTH 20: Fundamentals of Mathematics

3. Submit application

   Complete the application to Exercise Science.

After you apply

Within two weeks after a completed application is submitted, we will notify applicants of their status. Check your My51°µÍø email – all communication is done through your 51°µÍø email account.

An Exercise Science advisor can help you. They will go over course planning and program expectations with you.
